Waterman No4 Keyhole Nib

There are times when a couple of pictures say all there is to say!

About goodwriterspens
I restore fountain pens, and used to trade as redripple52 in eBay. I also have my own fountain pen sales website, www.goodwriterssales.com

    I have a similar one, and I bet it’s on plain black/blue 515 🙂
It’s one of the best nibs I own.

  2. The pen this nib came on is a no-number black forties Waterman, a little shorter than a 515, with two cap rings. No lever box.

    It’s a really great nib!

  3. Yes, that’s the same pen. The main difference between this pen and a 515 is that the latter has a lever box, and if I remember right, a third ring. The nib does look a little out of place at first, but it grows on you, that big, purposeful nib on a modest pen 🙂

I especially like your Conway Stewart, which I take to be a 479. Great understated, elegant pen with beautiful chasing.
