I’ve written about the Regent, a very nice pen made by Langs but I haven’t come across the Regency before. It’s a handsome lever-filler of 1930s vintage.
Unfortunately I can’t say a great deal about it as my searches found one or two others including a snakeskin but not much information.
Anyone know who made this pen?

It’s a quite typical pen design for that period, and there were as you’ve mentioned many times, several small manufacturers, and divisions of larger ones ! making cheaper but still very nice ‘no name’ pens that came and went sometimes quite quickly.
I couldn’t find any reference to this ‘name’ either; but there are some clever folk out there with some pretty eclectic knowledge.
Stepshef-8 has some very interesting pens indeed …I’ve gotten a couple!
Sadly I’m no further on with this pen. Steve Hull’s book on small manufacturers is coming out sometime this year. Maybe that will help.
Sorry to disappoint, but it’s not in there.
However, I would suggest that it might be a product of the Stratford Regency Pen Company, c1947. I have no other information on them at this time.
I stand corrected. Paul Martin’s old Summit site includes the Regency as a probable Lang product.
