Our sales site, goodwriterssales.com will close down next Sunday evening (6th August). There are some good pens left but it isn’t worthwhile keeping the site open indefinitely.

Dear Deb, like many others I do sincerely hope you will write the occasional post for us. Cheers from the Antipodean Spaniels.
Yes, once the immediate problems settle down I’ll be posting again. Regards to spaniels from the pussycat who is visiting us now.
Sorry to hear this. Iβve only just discovered your site. Iβm so sorry you wonβt be around much longer!
The blog will continue though I’m no longer repairing and selling pens.
I wish you all the best and well deserved retirement π While it saddens me, it’s the only immutable constance: impermanence. I pray another feline creature, visits you and bring you joy π
Thank you, Bob. This blog will continue when I can get back to it. We have another cat visiting now.
That’s such great news. It makes me feel so happy π
He’s a big, strong dressed tom, very unlike Tuppence but it is very likely that he is her grandson. His mannerisms and affection help to confirm that.
Grandson, eh? It’s glad to see he takes after his nan π
Hello. may I ask you about an a Swan 1500 eye dropper pen with gold nib and silver embossed bands that we have just discovered among my fathers belongings. I read with interest your comments about these pens. Would you know what approximate year ours may have been manufactured and an approximate value? Kind regards Terry McCabe.
Soory to be slow to reply. The 1500 went into production before WWI. I can’t help you with value; try completed sales in eBay.
