I have a boxed set of these Daily Herald pens and the paper work with it indicates these sets were made by Wyvern
That’s interesting, Alan. I recognised the milled, domed cap screw from somewhere else. Does it appear in Wyverns?
I have one of these pencils – bought at Auction years ago – described as a WPCo (Wyvern) Pencil
Yes, it seems quite certain that they were made by Wyvern. They’re very attractive pencils.
In 1930 the Daily Herald was bought by Odhams Press which brought it into the same stable as the John Bull magazine.
