While I know that an absence of Goodwriters Pens blog posts won’t impact anyone to any great degree, I don’t like to disappear entirely and thought I would post a quick update. I have been among the missing for the past wee while because my husband has been in and out of hospital for a few weeks (currently in), and I have mainly been there wrangling doctors and cheering up my husband during a long and difficult time.
Regrettably this has meant that I haven’t been able to get to the small handful of pens I have in for restoration/servicing from some of you, and for that I do most profoundly apologise. I know that I have had a couple of them for far too long and I feel terrible that I haven’t been able to get out my fountain pen tools and supplies to take care of these pens. I have not forgotten you, and I will work on your pens as soon as I am able. Thank you, sincerely, for your continued patience.
In between hospital visits, sending off pens that have sold, dealing with a confused and frustrated diabetic cat, and trying to keep up with the daily tasks that don’t let up even when life has to be temporarily on hold, I have not had the time to post anything here until this quick update. As too many of you likely know, hospital days are long, and when I get back home there’s not much time or energy left for all but the most basic of tasks. I’m hopeful that soon things will be back to normal so that fountain pen work and blog posts can resume!
Have missed your blogs. Sorry the news is not better. Keep your chin up – our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Thank you kindly. Things are improving.
